Meet Rudy

Meet Rudy, a 2 year old, 50 lb lab mix full of love! He came to us from a prior foster home in West Virginia where he had to leave due to the county’s humane society closing. We were told he was an exceptional dude, and he has certainly lived up to that hype.Rudy is obsessed with belly rubs, and whenever you’re on the couch he jumps up and lays on his back (after giving you a lot of kisses). He is a perfect combo of playful but easily self-soothes when he can tell it’s not play time. He came to us completely house and crate trained. He doesn’t know too many tricks but he is a pro at sitting for treats.He is very active and would be best suited for a family that can give him plenty of long walks/runs, and time outside. On the leash, he initially tugged a little, but he has been learning fast!He would do best in a home without cats. We’re not sure how he does with other dogs, but we were told that his prior experiences were positive! To our knowledge he has not had experience with kids.Rudy is such an incredible dog and whoever adopts him will be very lucky! He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and will be available for adoption starting 10/5 through Paws Across Pittsburgh, Springdale, PA KL# 16182.
