Meet Sophie

Oh hey! Sophie here!I’m the low-rider pup everyone’s been talking about — basically a bulldog mix in a fun-sized package, 39 pounds to be exact. I guess thats why my foster mom calls me Short-stack Sophie. I’m 10 months old, but let’s be honest, I’m mentally six months old on a good day, so don’t be surprised if I’m all puppy, all the time — curious, bouncy, silly, and very proud of it! First things first: check out these eyes. Yep, you’re seeing it right — I’ve got BOTH blue and brown swirled into each eye. People say it’s like looking into a magical marble, but honestly, I just use them to get extra snacks. Works every time.I’m currently working on my “grown-up dog” skills. Crate training? Almost nailed it (okay, it’s still a conversation in progress but I’m trying to be receptive!). House training? About 85% there (so basically an A- student). I learn fast, especially if treats are involved, and I’m really trying to impress. You should see me on a leash! I’m basically a model at this point with my strutting skills. Okay, I’ll admit it. sometimes the world feels big and I’m still figuring it all out. But I’m quick to remember that new things usually mean new friends, and that’s kind of my favorite thing. And in case you were wondering, that includes other pups and even cats!My legs may be short, but my zoomies are legendary, and when I flop down for cuddles, I make an excellent weighted blanket. Basically, I’m part clown, part model, and part best friend material. So what do you say? Want to add a short, silly, snuggly roommate with magical eyeballs to your life? (Spoiler alert: I’m talking about ME!) Have your people call my people, I can’t wait to meet you! I am spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and will be available for adoption starting 10/12 through Paws Across Pittsburgh, Springdale, PA KL# 16182.
