Meet Doodle

Doodle and his brother were brought to the shelter on 7/1/2023. His owner had too many dogs to care for and they were getting after their chickens. They lied at first and told a different shelter the dogs were strays in their county. We knew they owned the dogs, so we picked them up from the neighboring shelter. Doodle is a pit mix that is around 6 months old. He does well with other dogs and children. He does okay around cats, may chase them if they run. Needs a home without livestock (birds). He is a happy boy and loves to play in the yard. He seems to be housetrained. Neutered and up to date. Adoption fee is $100.00

Adoption Process
The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an application. Please allow up to 24-48 hours for applications to be reviewed. Once approved, you can come get your new baby. Unaltered cats are $10 with a signed contract agreeing to get the cat spayed/neutered as soon as old enough or within 30 days. Already altered cats are $30. The adoption fee for a dog starts at $125 and increases depending on the dog.

Look for other dogs for adoption!
