Collar of Hope

Collar of Hope is an all volunteer, animal rescue group, primarily dogs. We are a FOSTER HOME BASED RESCUE AND HAVE NO FACILITY TO VISIT. The only way to meet a animal without submitting our adoption application is when we attend adoption events with some of our available pets..We are committed to helping homeless animals find their way into permanent loving homes as a valued member of the family.We do not discriminate in size, age or breeds; we just want to help nice adoptable cat & dogs as we can and believe they have the right for the chance at their own happy "tail"!We are not trainers, behaviorist or veterinarians. We provide all basic health care, grooming needs and a safe place for the animal until a good viable match for the animal comes along. All rescues will take some work, some more and some less depending on the age and background. 99% of our dogs come from shelters as strays so we have no history on them. We learn as much as we can about them while they're in our care in their foster home.

Meet Cassidy

Cassidy is a courtesy post.  Her rescue is closing.  Please email [email protected] for inquiries.  If you complete our adoption application, please note that we will forward it to them.  Thank you for considering Cassidy! This very sweet girl is now a little over 7mo old and she weighs only 22lbs Her mama is only 30lbs and we expect Cassidy to be no more than 25lbs when she’s full grown.  According to DNA, she is a mix of Cattle dog, Pomeranian, Boxer, Staffy and a number of other breeds.  The mix has made an exceptionally sweet tempered, adorable girl! Cassidy is a curious puppy that likes to get out and explore. She is currently in a foster home that walks her through busy downtown Seattle and she is doing awesome when meeting lots of people and other dogs on the sidewalks.  She gets along wonderful with the kitties, too.  She does not need another dog in the home but she should have frequent play dates. She is a quiet girl so with a little training she could be a great office dog companion.  She is crate trained, house trained, leash trained and she has learned many of her basic commands.  Cassidy is so gentle tempered and she loves kids so she’d be a great addition to a home with children over 6yrs old. She must have a 5ft or higher securely fenced fenced yard.

Adoption Process
Complete adoption application, we process completed application, check references, call landlord etc., interview, home inspection if applicable, meet and greet, decision, adoption and take your new family member home.
