Meet Cap
Meet Cap! This sweet, healthy, 10-year old is a fabulous mix of many breeds. Rangy and handsome, Cap tips the scales at 110 pounds. This big boy excels at the following: looking cute, eating food, startling himself with his own farts, chewing balls, active dreaming, sighing, nudging you for pets, and playing tug. He’s agility trained…but definitely not an agility champion. He IS a champ at helping with the dishes, though! As his age would suggest, Cap is mature, calm, smart, house-trained, and happy to lay quietly by the fire thinking dog thoughts…whatever those are. He’s great on a leash and thrives with short walks. He’s easy in the car and great with other dogs in off-leash settings. He'd fit best in a home without cats, but other dogs and kids are a-okay!Cap’s former owner rescued him when he was a puppy. Sadly, she is now battling cancer and Cap is not welcome at the hospital. He is being fostered with family, but cannot be there long-term.Cap is up to date on vaccines, neutered and microchipped. If you’re interested in being Cap’s new best friend, please fill out a Statement of Interest on our website!
