Hello, I'm Lollipop, a sweet and cuddly pup with a heart full of love to share. I am the sister of Candy who is also available for adoption, and I have been on a journey of resilience and hope. With time, you will see my true cuddly and affectionate side, melting your heart with every paw I offer. I adore cuddling and will shower you with love once I feel comfortable. I am more at ease around women than men, showing my preference for gentle and nurturing souls.I am not very interested in other dogs and can be a bit timid around bigger dogs. Even when I encounter small dogs during our walks, I may choose to keep my distance. I have yet to meet a cat, but I approach new experiences with curiosity and caution.I have a soft spot for plush dog beds and squeaky toys, finding comfort and joy in these cozy items. Sudden loud noises startle me, but my foster mom is helping me with desensitization to overcome this fear.I am a gentle soul with no signs of aggression, resource guarding, or separation anxiety. I rarely bark, do not have escape tendencies, and am fully crate-trained. While I am mostly pee-pad trained with some outdoor potty breaks, I am eager to learn and please my new family.If you are looking for a loving companion who enjoys cuddles, soft beds, and gentle play, I would love to be a part of your home. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you.The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs.Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. Adoption Process
-adoption application, phone interview, home visit, meet the dog. Adoption fees range from $400 to $600 depending on the dog's age. Contract required. Spay/neuter if animal currently too young & return policy to us if animal can no longer be kept, unless other contract arrangements previously made.
