Saving Great Animals

We are a group of volunteers to aim to save as many death row animals as possible. We work solely through a network of fosters and trial adopters and do not have a facility. We feel that shelter animals deserve a second chance and that euthanasia is not the answer.

Meet King

Meet King! King is a sweet, submissive boy that just wants to be your shadow. He loves anyone that says hi to him and could lay belly up in the sun for hours. He is gentle and slow going except for his zoomies after being let out of his crate in the mornings. Loud noises don’t bother him and he is completely potty trained. He hasn’t tried to chew on anything in the house either. He is a food grazer, and has little interest in people food (no begging!). He does not seem to have a prey drive. King gets along well with other dogs but we have not seen him with cats or young children.  He will need routine brushing to prevent knots especially around his ears.  King's only challenge is that he does not like to be alone and will cry if he is not with you. This separation anxiety can be worked on and our trainer can help. Apartment living is probably not the right choice for him as his lonely cries would likely cause complaints from neighbors. He is the perfect gentleman who just wants to be with people. King is vaccinated, neutered and chipped. His adoption fee is $450

Adoption Process
We pull dogs from kill shelters and place them with fosters or trial adopters. All adoptions have 2 week trial. Adoption donation is made after trial period and certificate of ownership is issued. We also bring animals from owner surrenders into our organization so that they never enter the shelter system. We check references for all applicants and complete home checks. A great deal of our dogs are transported from CA to Seattle once we have found a foster or trial for them.
