Meet Sundae

Animal Profile: Sundae is an estimated 6-month-old, 25 lb spayed female shepherd mix who has spent the last five weeks along with her littermates in a crowded shelter; one was adopted but four remained languishing for weeks and so they're joining us in Seattle. They have been spared euthanasia for space due to their sweet and social nature and they are friendly with all dogs and people. We will share more information as we get to know them in foster care.  Foster Update: Meet Sundae, an intelligent, observant and unique looking mid-size shepherd mix who will capture your heart with her beautiful coat, green eyes, warm snuggles and pink ears. She is an outgoing, people-oriented dog who also gets along with the dogs in the house and even the cat! Sundae is learning about walking on a leash and every day is getting closer to 100% house trained. She's also excellent in a crate. Sundae would love a family that can continue her training. She grew up in the shelter so everything is new and Sundae is very trainable and is eager to learn and explore with you. We are looking for a home with a fenced yard. A canine companion would be a bonus but not necessary as long as she can get regular play dates with other dogs. If you are looking for a hiking/adventure buddy she would love that. Adoption Info: The adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations, flea/tick prevention, deworming, microchip and registration, heartworm test for dogs over 6 months, and recent vet exam.  Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization. Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: Sundae and her littermates were taken into Moreno Valley animal shelter on April 9, 2025 and at risk for euthanasia due to overcrowded. They will be transported via WiggleButts arriving to DGS foster care on Sunday May 25. They will be available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.
