Animal Profile: Nakoa is an 18-month-old neutered male fawn Doberman. He’s had 3 homes in his short life, and is looking for stability in a family to call his own. His current person took over his care from a friend that was no longer able to provide a good home environment for him. She has worked on his house and crate manners, and general obedience. Nakoa is friendly with new people, but can sometimes take a moment to say hello. He’s can still be a little wary in new environments, but overcomes his nerves quickly (especially when there is food involved!). Nakoa is house and crate trained, and dog friendly. He currently lives with a female bully/Doberman mix who isn’t exactly his biggest fan. Nakoa is very respectful of her boundaries and does not bother her if she isn’t interested in interacting. He’s lived with kids age 10 and 15, and would do find with dog respectful children in the home. Nakoa also met a cat and was scared of it, so he could likely integrate into a home with a dog savvy feline as well. Foster Update: coming soon!
