Animal Profile: Meet PB, an itty bitty 7 lb neutered male Chihuahua estimated at 4 years old who was picked up by a good samaritan and brought into Regional Animal Services of King County as a stray. At the shelter he was very social, friendly and easy to handle. He's affectionate and just wants to sit in your lap. We will share more info as we get to know him in foster care. Foster Update: Peanut Butter (or PB, as he's affectionately called) is an incredibly sweet and gentle little dog. He’s very easygoing when it comes to routines and he adapted to potty training in just a few days. He usually waits until his walks to do his business. He always finishes his meals and is perfectly fine being left alone -- he stays quiet and calm. PB absolutely loves to sleep and spends most of the day napping, but he also gets very excited for walks. He hardly ever barks and seems quite smart when it comes to learning new commands. PB is a true companion dog who just wants to be by your side all day. He is a sweet, calm pup, and whoever adopts him will be very lucky to have him. Adoption fee: $575, which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue. Animal History: PB was taken into Regional Animal Services of King County as a stray on 5/31 and arrived in our care on 06/06/25. He will be available for adoption after evaluation foster care.
