Animal Profile: Miles is an approximately 10 month old 25lb mixed breed, young active happy bouncy playful dog with lots of personality. He was euth listed after three days due to space constraints and kennel stress. He has done better with a kennel mate; they enjoy each others company! Miles is very cute, smiley dog and loves people and giving kisses. We will share more about him as we get to know him in foster care. Foster Update: Miles is a super fun boy who loves people and other dogs! He still has a lot of puppy/teenager energy but that's mostly with comings and goings and meeting new people. He thinks everyone is his new best friend. That being said, he settles quickly and easily and loves to sleep on the floor near my feet or come up on the couch and cuddle when he's invited. Crate training is a work in progress, as he prefers to be with his people, but is able to sleep through the night in his crate. He stole the hearts of everyone at the vet yesterday for his neuter and makes friends wherever he goes. Miles would love a home with another playful dog, but would do fine with an active family willing to give him plenty of exercise. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.
