nOkill Network

The nOkill Network is dedicated to promoting no-kill animal shelters, organizations, and rescue groups by helping people learn about and locate these organizations. The nOkill Network also strives to promote the no-kill model so that shelters that do not currently have a no-kill policy might take the initiative needed to gain the public, governmental, and financial support necessary to become a no-kill organization. Our website visitors are pet lovers that would be helpful in adopting and caring for pets in need, so we'd like to provide the adoptable pet listing on our site in order to match animals in need with families.

Meet Jackson

2year old, 22 pounds. Adopted from Dumb Friends league. Needs training but is housebroke. Jackson needs a single person home. He is ok with groomers and vets, but is overly protective of his "chosen" human. He loves attention and lots of play time, but also likes to lay on your lap and be petted. Jackson needs someone who has the time and energy to train him. He is house broken (wasn't when we got him). He was turned in as a stray to DDFL, we believe he belonged to a single person, possibly a homeless person as he had little training before we got him. We just don't have the time and energy to devote to properly train him. He does ok on walks, and likes the outdoors in good weather. He will need leashed during walks. For the right person, he will be a good friend. He just deserves the right person. Has all shots including heartworm prevention. **** Breed: Terrier Mix **** Pet Link: https://www.nokillnetwork.org/adoption/pet_detail.php?petid=2153547&flag=1
