Collar of Hope

Collar of Hope is an all volunteer, animal rescue group, primarily dogs. We are a FOSTER HOME BASED RESCUE AND HAVE NO FACILITY TO VISIT. The only way to meet a animal without submitting our adoption application is when we attend adoption events with some of our available pets..We are committed to helping homeless animals find their way into permanent loving homes as a valued member of the family. We do not discriminate in size, age or breeds; we just want to help nice adoptable cat & dogs as we can and believe they have the right for the chance at their own happy "tail"!We are not trainers, behaviorist or veterinarians. We provide all basic health care, grooming needs and a safe place for the animal until a good viable match for the animal comes along. All rescues will take some work, some more and some less depending on the age and background. 99% of our dogs come from shelters as strays so we have no history on them. We learn as much as we can about them while they're in our care in their foster home.

Meet Odie

Please go to our website for all specific information about this dog.  Our info doesn't transfer over to the adoption sites.  Odie is a really nice boy looking for a committed new family and home.  He's already had 2 homes that we know of and after getting to know him, it's never been his fault.  He is social, sweet, well mannered and fun.  He loves to run and play, especially fetch with a chuck-it!  IF YOU APPLY FOR ADOPTION, PLEASE ADD A GROOMER REFERENCE ON THE APPLICATION, NAME AND PHONE NUMBER.  His coat was a mess and it was clear that he wasn't taken to a professional groomer, at least since last summer when his last owner got him.   He is also overweight and was fed a horrible brand of food.  We have him on an appropriate diet and he's getting exercise so has started his weight loss.  It needs to continue in his new home.  We do know he's lived with dogs, cats and even guinea pigs.  He pulls a little excited on leash initially or if he's excited to greet someone or another dog.   Who's ready to add this doll to their family and give him his lifelong, happily ever after?   Prior to adoption, our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and parasite treated/prevented.

Adoption Process
Complete adoption application, we process completed application, check references, call landlord etc., interview, home inspection if applicable, meet and greet, decision, adoption and take your new family member home.

Look for other dogs for adoption!
