Meet Atlas

Animal Profile: Atlas is a 14 month old 90 lb neutered male German Shepherd who -- true to his breed -- is intelligent, loving and loyal. Atlas loves to go for walks with his pack and his favorite game is tug. He also enjoys watching movies with his people (especially if there are dogs in the movie). Atlas loves everyone he meets; he is very friendly with people. He does need structured introductions to other dogs but can integrate to a pack with proper guidance. He is currently fostered with several other dogs and enjoys canine interactions in his foster home. Atlas is neutral around cats -- he doesn't pay too much attention to them now, but would need structured introductions in a new environment.  Atlast has completed a 3-week board-and-train with Nirvana K9 Training, learning the essentials of general obedience around distractions including loose leash walking. His adoption will include take-home lessons with Nirvana K9 to set his owners up for success.  Adopter Profile: Large breed experience required Single family residence required Other balanced dogs OK Dog savvy cats OK Dog savvy kids OK Adoption Info: Atlas's adoption fee is $550 which includes his neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, and microchip with lifetime registration. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization.  Apply online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: Atlas was owned by a family who decided they could no longer meet his needs when faced with a cross-country move. They completed a board and train with Nirvana K9 to set Atlas up for success. Atlas is currently being fostered with Nirvana K9 Training in Shoreline and is available for adoption in the greater Seattle area.
