Meet MIMI (Local, Victoria), sf
Hiya, my name is Mimi! I am a very gentle 3 year old lab/shepherd mix pup weighing about 80lbs. My story is a bit of a mystery. All I know is that I was found as a stray in Guadalajara and was doomed for euthanasia because there are too many street dogs in Mexico. Thank my lucky stars though, my amazing rescuers swooped in and saved me and my sister Maggie from death row. When I first came to Vancouver as a puppy, I was living in a foster home with Maggie and some other dogs. Being surrounded by other dogs made me a very social pup! I love to play so I would do best in a home with another playful dog. I am also great with cats.I found a home here in Vancouver and have done very well. I thought I had found my forever home. But unfortunately my owner's living situation has changed and she can no longer keep me. So I am now in need of a new familyI am a low energy girl who is content with a couple of walks a day and hanging around the house with my dog and human buddies. I am a kind-hearted pup who is keen to learn! My leash manners are great and I know a lot of commands. Because I am still a bit hand shy, a home with young kids is not a good fit. But older kids who understand not to move their hands quickly towards me would be fine. I am SO ready to find my loving forever home-- do you think you could make room in your hearts for a sweet gal like me?My adoption fee is $600. I am spayed, microchipped and up to date on my vaccinations,Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue.Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters.
