Meet Jerry

Animal Profile: Jerry is a friendly 3-year-old German Shepherd that was adopted from another organization in 2023. Unfortunately, his owner's circumstances have changed and Jerry is being left alone far more often than he likes. Jerry’s owner contacted us for help when the original rescue was unable to assist with rehoming Jerry. We met and evaluated him, and had to help this sweet boy find a family that has more time to meet his needs. Jerry is a social, friendly pup who’s lived with other dogs and children. He’s completed a 5-week board and train with Amani K9 and is very well trained. His adoption also includes a take-home lesson with his trainer. Jerry is house trained, crate trained, and knows all of his basic commands reliably. He’s easy to introduce to new dogs, and has frequented dog parks in his area. Jerry will be a wonderful companion for a family with large-breed experience. He will do best in a single family dwelling, no apartments.    Foster Update Coming soon! Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, negative heartworm test, health certificate, and microchip with lifetime registration. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization. Apply online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application
