Meet Reo

Meet Reo! He’s a one-and-a-half-year-old mixed breed with long, silky hair and a very manageable weight of 45 lbs—which he’ll gladly pile onto your lap the moment he meets you.Reo is a loyal, affectionate people-dog who loves to be close to his humans. He wants to say hi to everyone and will enthusiastically offer kisses. Personal space isn’t really his thing—he’ll happily sit right on top of you. Though still young and full of puppy energy, Reo listens well and is eager to please. He’s not a runner and prefers to stay close, even on off-leash walks. He knows a few basic commands and would likely be easy to train with some stability and consistency.Reo previously lived around chickens and livestock, which he loved to chase—so a home without farm animals would be best. He’s had a lot of transitions in his short life, so he can be a little skittish at first but usually settles in within a few days. He’s afraid of cats and doesn’t do well with aggressive or dominant dogs, but he gets along just fine with calm, docile ones. Reo loves to run, play, and go on long walks—but he’s also a big fan of long naps. He’s not crate trained.Fun fact: Reo has secret flying abilities and once jumped a 6-foot kennel wall! Baby gates are no match for him. Luckily, he’s usually just trying to get closer to his people—not escape.Reo has lived with older kids and has always been gentle with everyone he meets. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all his shots.Want to meet this gentle guy?
