Meet Lady
Please meet Mama Bear, I mean Lady BugThis proud mama came us after delivering a resounding 14 puppy litter! She camewith 10 day old puppies in tow and has successfully beat all the medical odds. She is healthy, happy and an all around amazing dog that shockingly nursed her pups to a full 8 weeks old. That is an amazing feat considering their size and everyone getting an upper respiratory infection while first in care.Lady has been effortless to care for and command. She is one of those dogs that will love on you and also make sure that you (her family) are safe and sound at all times. She will do best with good sized fenced yard although she is not much of a runner, but more of a trotter when out and about.Lady was recently spayed and wants to lay at your feet. She has not been leash trained and will wrap you up or closely go behind your knees causing instability. We are requiring she be signed up for basic obedience classes to help work on this.Lady is fully grown at just under 5 yrs old and around 75 pounds although you’d never guess it. She is not tall in stature hitting me just below the knee but she is strong! Her warning growl is enough to make anyone sit up and pay attention. Lady’s demeanor is loving and she wants nothing more than to be your companion. She doesn’t want to be left alone for any real length of time.Lady is a Rottweiler / Black Lab mix who is spayed, up-to-date on her shots and microchipped. If Lady seems like a good fit for you please fill out a statement of interest on our website at https://alternativehumanesociety.com/statement-of-interest-dog/
