Meet Remy
~~THIS DOG IS **NOT** IN THE CARE OF THE ALTERNATIVE HUMANE SOCIETY. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO LEARN MORE ABOUT REMY OR MEET HER, PLEASE REACH OUT TO HER OWNER DIRECTLY AT [email protected] THANK YOU~~This is Remy! She is a 9yo spayed beagle looking for her forever home. We took her in when friends of a friend were in a pinch with their other dog picking on her too much. She’s been with us since February after recovering from several stitches on her face and is ready to start meeting new potential families! She is up to date on all vaccinations. She was a little overweight when we got her but being on a diet and exercise regimen and she’s doing well and looking good! She lets us bathe her and nail trim. She likes to be your shadow, and snuggle up when ever the opportunity arises. She can be a little bit of the “fun police” if another dog is getting more attention than her, and might bork until she gets attention too. She has done well learning redirection with this behavior though. Does well on a leash with harness, and while she loves going for walkies - she’s also content making a sniffing loop around the fenced yard before coming back inside for a snooze. She knows how to use our doggy door & has had no accidents in the house. She will tolerate being in a crate, but it's certainly not her favorite. MUST HAVE FENCED YARD or plan for keeping on leash at all times when outside. Home visit and trial stay required before formalizing any adoption.
