Meet Magnolia (S. Korea) hz
Hi, I’m Magnolia! Breed: Jindo mixAge: 2 MonthsGender: Female Weight: 13.5 lb (I'm still growing)Highlight(s): Good with other dogs, affectionate, socialI was born in early March, one of 11 lucky puppies brought into the world by our brave mama, who was a stray. She hid us in a hole between some rocks to keep us safe—but as we grew bigger (fast!), the space got too tight. Thankfully, some kind-hearted humans rescued us just in time! Now I’m thriving in a loving foster home and learning all about life as a happy, well-socialized pup. I’m super affectionate and cuddly—I love belly rubs, being petted, and even being lifted! I live with a human kid, and we’re the best of playmates. I also love meeting new people and will happily trot up to say hello.I'm great with other dogs and love making new canine friends. I haven’t met any cats yet, but my foster mom says I’ll be introduced soon—stay tuned!Since I’m still a young pup, I’ve got a good bit of energy and a big love for playtime. I’m learning to walk on a leash (I’m pretty good, just easily distracted by all the exciting smells!), and I absolutely adore toys. I do still have some puppy biting and I’m not fully housetrained yet—but I’m smart and eager to learn! Here’s the good stuff: No signs of aggression No resource guarding—I'm happy to share! No separation anxiety so far I sometimes bark to tell you what I want, but I’m quiet when crated No escape attempts here—I'm content and curious, not a runaway! If you're looking for a loving, friendly, and playful pup who’s ready to grow up with your family, I might be your perfect match. I can’t wait to meet you!Love,Magnolia I get along with:Dogs: YesCats: UnsureKids: YesEnergy level: High as I'm still in my puppyhoodMy adoption fee is $850.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. This includes my transportation to Canada, if I am able to be accompanied by a flight volunteer directly to Vancouver.Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you.The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs.Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live.Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website.
