Meet Skippy

501C3 rescue needed! This is Skippy. (See his VIDEO on our FB page!) He's a 5 year old  purebred German Shepherd. He's been completely shaved but his coat will grow back. Skippy is amazing with other dogs, cats, and kids. Here's why we need a rescue... He's 75% blind. Skippy was bought from a breeding kennel when a pup. His eyesight is almost completely gone. He's learning to get around though. This tough boy is the sweetest ever and is super gentle. He'll follow you by voice. Loves, loves, loves, to be loved on. He likes to go for walks and walks super nice on a leash. Here are some things we have noticed that he has trouble with... #1. Stairs. #2. He runs into things. #3. Things he would have to climb up on. (So far he won't get on furniture that we have noticed.) This boy deserves a chance at love. He's so sweet and gentle. Skippy is super smart. Will you please share Skippy and help us find a place for him? Being in the shelter and being almost completely blind is so confusing for him. Message us on our FB page if you can help him. Thank you!

Adoption Process
Adoption fee is $40.00 and they receive $25.00 of that back in the form of a spay/neuter certificate to use when surgery is done. We have a questionaire that is required to be filled out, adoption contract and copy of the West Virginia Spay/Neuter law is reviewed with adoptees as it is mandatory spay neuter when adopting from out facility. It is same day adoptions.
