Buttons the Pug is an 8 yrs old, 16 lb female. She is a sweet little girl is happy-go-lucky, goofy, energetic dog who is friendly with other dogs and people. She enjoys car rides, trips to the beach, and walks nicely on a leash.  Buttons also loves playing with plush toys. She is a strong dog and will get up under your feet in the kitchen and bathroom, so she can be a trip hazard if you are not careful.   Buttons is crate trained and doing very well on her housetraining.  She could be an only dog or have another dog around low-key dog about her size (no larger than 25lbs) in the home. We prefer her forever home to be one with Pug experience. WE REQUIRE AN ALL-ADULT HOME WITH A SECURELY FENCED YARD .  The secure fence must be 4ft or higher, with gaps no greater than 2 inches and attached to the home.  An invisible fence, enclosed patio, terrace or deck, temporary fencing, dog pens or dog lots or community shared fencing (dog park) are NOT considered secure fencing.  No exceptions.  The adoption range for this dog is limited to NC, SC, VA and East TN. There is an application process and adoption fee. We are an all-volunteer organization, and in addition to saving dogs, we have other responsibilities, so we appreciate your patience and understanding during this process. Response time can take up to 5 business. Please inquire only if you are willing to come to Greensboro, North Carolina to meet the dog after we schedule your home visit. We do not ship dogs or put them on transports. Veterinary Care: All Hart-2-Heart Rescue foster dogs are spayed/neutered, current on heartworm prevention, parvo/distemper, bordetella, and rabies vaccines and are professionally groomed.
