SHORE NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Name:   Shore          Best Guess for Breed:  Heeler and Australian shepherd mix Best Guess for Age:  1 year as of March 2024       SEX:  Female   Approximate Weight: 26 lbs   Gets Along With:   Other dogs! We haven't seen her with kids or cats but she can be tested   Currently Living at: DC area foster home.   Shore is Looking For: Her forever home! This young girl is eagerly looking forward to her new chapter. The one where she gets her own humans for long sniffy walks, romps in parks, and all the adventures her family can dream up. She hasn't seen nearly enough of the world yet and is looking forward to making new pup and people pals along the way. Exploring all the toys to see what she likes best, quality kibble, and a cushy dog bed are on her wish list as well.  At about 26 pounds, she's a great size for snuggling too - and promises lots of adoring gazes and love and loyalty for all her days. What do you say? Is this sweetie the one you can see by your side? What My Foster Says About Me:  Shore is a very sweet and playful girl! At just 1 year old, she still has a lot of puppy energy and would do well in an active household where she can take lots of walks and have playtime (especially fetching!) She's making great progress with crate training, and is still getting the hang of how leashes work.  Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT:      The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. Adoption Process
1. Complete Adoption Application 2. Phone interview, vet check and home visit. 3. Contract signed (requirements include keeping a pet ID on dog at all times, keeping the dog as a pet, spaying/neutering puppies by 6 monts of age, returning the pet to Lucky Dog in the adopter cannot take care of it at any point in the future, and providing adequate vet care for the rest of the dog's life.
