Meet Augustus: At shelter

Such a great friend! Augustus and his brothers, mom, and brother were all found as strays. they were brought to the shelter for safekeeping, and no one has come looking. this is an interesting family group, and we know they can’t be kept together, but for comfort right now they are at least within the vicinity of one another. The puppies are very social, and know that humans are taking good care of them. Many hound puppies aren’t scared and don’t like to be handled. That is not the case with these fellas. We hope you’ll come and meet, and consider taking a baby home with you! This is a prime age for them to learn, manners and rules, and we would love to see them be adopted.  

Adoption Process
Begin with an application to adopt. Other pets in household must be spay/neutered, current with rabies vaccines, dogs need to be current with HW testing and heartguard. Fees range between $75 and $300. We follow up on spays/neuters for pets under six months, and the fees include spay/neuter. Contract requires it. Adults are adopted out already spayed/neutered. Pets must be returned to FOAC if adoption ends.
