Meet Charley: Not at shelter
Two-year-old Charley is a bit anxious right now, and we understand his fears. (He was signed over to the shelter with another companion, for reasons we just don’t quite understand.) we are going to help Charley have a better life, by giving him consistency while he adjusts, and helping him develop confidence. He is a handsome boy with a glorious coat, and a fascinating body structure. His long legs and flowing tail feathers give him the appearance of a bird in flight, graceful and free. Charley has been fine with the older children he has met but we don’t know if he has been exposed to toddlers or babies. We also do not know about his exposure to cats. we do think he would be happiest in a home where there is another dog who can serve as his leader or his mentor, as he looks for guidance to his companion with whom he was surrendered. we were told he is quite familiar with a crate, PLEASE NOTE: This pet has been posted by Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, Rustburg, VA. Adoption Process
Begin with an application to adopt. Other pets in household must be spay/neutered, current with rabies vaccines, dogs need to be current with HW testing and heartguard. Fees range between $75 and $300. We follow up on spays/neuters for pets under six months, and the fees include spay/neuter. Contract requires it. Adults are adopted out already spayed/neutered. Pets must be returned to FOAC if adoption ends.
