Lucky Dog Animal Rescue

Lucky Dog Animal Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned animals, primarily dogs from high-kill shelters and owners who can no longer care for them. By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, local veterinarians, trainers, and boarding facilities, we are able to rescue hundreds of animals every year, provide them with loving temporary care, and find them well-matched, carefully screened forever homes. We also serve as a resource to our community and all pet owners by providing education and information on responsible pet ownership, including the importance of spay/neuter, positive behavior training, and good nutrition.

HAVANA NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name:   Havana          Best Guess for Breed:   Lab/Beagle Mix    Best Guess for Age:   3 years as of May 2025          SEX:    female   Approximate Weight:   31 lbs   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen them with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:   Shelter. Havana needs a foster or forever home!     Havana is Looking For:    A family to call her own! This sweet girl can't wait to be showered with belly rubs and lots of love. She's eager to learn, eager to love, and ready to feel safe and comfortable. She would love to greet you with tail wags, loving gazes, and plenty of affection. At 3 years old, Havana is out of her puppy stage, but still has plenty of playful energy to share. Whether it's a long walk in the park, trips to the dog park, or a movie night on the couch, Havana just wants to spend her time with you! What do you say... could she be the perfect addition to your family? What My Foster Says About Me:   We'll update this when Havana has spent time in a foster home. Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. Adoption Process
1. Complete Adoption Application 2. Phone interview, vet check and home visit. 3. Contract signed (requirements include keeping a pet ID on dog at all times, keeping the dog as a pet, spaying/neutering puppies by 6 monts of age, returning the pet to Lucky Dog in the adopter cannot take care of it at any point in the future, and providing adequate vet care for the rest of the dog's life.
