Petey and Furends

Petey and Furends is a certified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN 84-4819015) no-kill animal rescue organization that is dedicated to reducing instances of neglect, abuse, and homelessness in companion animals. To do this, we use research- and evidence-based practices to facilitate a matchmaking experience that will increase the rate of successful adoptions. All members of Petey and Furends are volunteers who dedicate their time and compassion to the animals.

Meet LOVER LITTER: CANDY

Name: Candy Sex: Female Estimated Age: About 8 weeks old (as of 2/17/24) Best Guess for Breed: Terrier Mix Weight: About 4 lbs (as of 2/17/24) Good With: Dogs, people, cats and kids - puppies are in the prime of socialization! Story: Candy was rescued from a shelter in North Carolina with her siblings - the Lover Litter. Candy is a super sweetie that loves all people and gets along great with other dogs and puppies. She knows just how to get comfortable up on the couch with her humans, and will love to join you on walks and trots around the neighborhood. Candy is just looking for someone to be her new best furend and we know that she will repay them with endless amounts of love and tail wags. As a puppy, Candy will need an adopter who is committed to setting her up for success by enrolling in obedience training and exercising her both mentally and physically. She will also need love, patience, and socialization in order to thrive! If you think that Candy might be your perfect match, apply today!
