Meet Newton

WHEN AN APPLICATION TO ADOPT IS APPROVED WE BRING NEWTON TO THE HOME VISIT AND MEET AND GREET, AND IF ANOTHER ANIMAL A SNIFF TEST.  WE DO NOT PLACE DOGS ON THIS VISIT. WE RETURN IF THERE WILL BE AN ADOPTION WHEN EVERYONE IS PREPARED TO ADOPT.  WE ONLY TRAVEL UP TO A ONE HOUR DRIVE FROM ROCKVILLE MD TO PLACE ANIMALS. Newton is a mixed breed we presume to be Shih-Tzu / Poodle mix.  He is around 20 pounds (underweight) neutered and just recently vetted.  Newton ended up in a local shelter completely matted and in pain.  He was shaved down, neutered and had imbecile hernia repair.  He was too stressed out in the shelter so they reached out for a rescue group to help him.  We got there as soon as we can.  Newton is an active, happy, playful dog that gets along well with his new foster brother.  He seems to be energetic and active and a bit mouthy so he would not do well with young children.
