Meet Muna Lee
MUNA LEE NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Muna Lee Best Guess for Breed: Collie/Border Collie mix Best Guess for Age: 3 years, as of April 2025 SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 30 lbs Gets Along With: Other dogs! Although Muna Lee has not lived with children, she has done well with those kids she has met. Given what we have observed so far, however, we think she would do well in a home with kids. We haven't seen her with cats but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: Puerto Rico shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here! Special adoption considerations: Dogs from Puerto Rico have a major transition to go through when they arrive and will need humans who are very committed to socialization. We think Muna Lee would do best with either a resident dog or a family who can make sure she can go on walks regularly with other dogs, visit the dog park, or go to doggie daycare to learn the ropes. Muna Lee is Looking For: A family of fun and friends (furry and otherwise) who can help her learn all the exciting things to do in a new area and treat her as a part of the family. This spunky gal has a heart full of love, a mind that's always working, and is ready to sniff and snuggle her way into your heart and show you all the love she has to offer. - just look at those eyes! Muna Lee is in her prime - young and full of energy but developing some maturity and is always eager to please. She thrives on structure, mental stimulation, and - most of all - companionship. She would love to burn some energy at the park, a dog agility class, learning a new trick, or interacting with a puzzle or other brain twister before coming to cuddle by your side for a nice nap. What My Foster Says About Me: Coming soon! The local rescue personnel who have spent time with Muna Lee say she "is very social, playful (loves being outside, loves exercise); is always smiling, well-trained, and obedient." Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training. TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
