Partnership for Animal Welfare

Partnership for Animal Welfare (PAW) was founded in 1996 and is a all-volunteer, cat and dog rescue organization. Our mission is to place homeless dogs and cats in loving and stable homes. We focus on holding weekend adoption shows to allow prospective owners to meet with the animals and with our volunteers.

Meet Raven

Raven is a fluffy, bouncy puppy who is in awe of the big world she is now discovering! She is a sensitive eight-week old baby who loves to run, wrestle, and play with her brother but also loves to be held securely to your chest, listen to your heartbeat, and be rocked to sleep. Raven is the only girl from a litter of six dogs, who came from North Carolina, where she was surrendered by a breeder who was convinced to discontinue breeding dogs. She has big, bright, brown eyes that are filled with love and make you want to take her in your arms like a baby. She is still very young, not yet spayed, and just learning about "potty outside" and crate training. She is a blank slate waiting for a person or family who want to enfold her in their world, show her all of the wonderful adventures the world holds, and teach her what love looks like. Her foster says that Raven hops like a bunny, instigates wrestling with her brother, and loves snuggles. Raven is a special little princess who deserves to start her life off right with someone who is ready for a lifelong (and likely large) companion and friend.PAW places dogs in the MD, DC, northern VA, and southern PA area only
