TREY NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name:  Trey         Best Guess for Breed:  Lab mix Best Guess for Age:  1 year as of March 2024       SEX:  Male   Approximate Weight: 32 lbs   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen him with kids or cats but he can be tested.    Currently Living at:  South Carolina shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get his freedom ride up here Special adoption considerations:  When Trey arrived into our care, we noticed something off about his left rear foot and leg. He wasn't able to bear weight on that leg and it was causing him issues. He is now a very happy tripod! Trey is Looking For: His forever home! This sweetie is young and hasn't seen nearly enough of the world. He's eager to get his own humans for long sniffy walks, romps in the park, and all those adventures. Hikes in the woods, the local pet shop to choose his own toys, Starbucks for pup cups - yes, please! He'd also like to make new pup and people pals along the way. But you know what he wants most of all? To be safe and loved and under his own roof.    He just wants to know where he belongs, and upon whom he should lavish all the adoring gazes, happy tail wags, and cuddles he's saving up in the shelter. Is Trey the companion you have been seeking?  What My Foster Says About Me:  We will update this once he has arrived in the DC area and spent some time with his foster Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT:      The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. Adoption Process
1. Complete Adoption Application 2. Phone interview, vet check and home visit. 3. Contract signed (requirements include keeping a pet ID on dog at all times, keeping the dog as a pet, spaying/neutering puppies by 6 monts of age, returning the pet to Lucky Dog in the adopter cannot take care of it at any point in the future, and providing adequate vet care for the rest of the dog's life.
