Meet Nemo

Nemo is playful island boy looking for his forever home in the US.  He is an aussie dachsund mix (we think?), 5 months old, 20 lbs, neutered, and current on vaccines.  He likes other dogs, children and basically all humans, he would love to be part of your daily adventures.  If you are ready to for fun, energetic and playful, look no further.  Please complete an application to meet him today.   Meet Oreo and Nemo! These two boys just made their freedom flight from PR and are settling in to their new foster home.   These are fosters #20 and #21 for their current home (we are so grateful!) and here is what they have to say.   These two boys are wicked smart, sweet as pie, cute as buttons, and just totally grateful and open to learning! They have wonderful demeanors. They are so happy and did I say smart? I picked them up yesterday and they are doing great with house training.  They slept through the night, pottied outside with resident dogs this morning, came inside ate breakfast, and then right outside to potty again.  Now they’re playing with toys! The little apricot boy’s right ear doesn’t match his left so we are calling him Nemo he was born with ears 2 different size, that makes him even more special! I call it his “lucky fin” (like Nemo) whoever chooses to open their hearts to either of these boys will not be disappointed! I will continue to work on potty training and other basic commands.   Nemo is the lover! He just wants to lean against you.  Oreo is more active right now, eager to please and to learn. He would be great at agility training. Oreo would love a backyard to play in and an active family.  I don’t see him thriving in an apartment.  These are the first two pups that my cat actually likes! I will continue their socialization with children etc. Please put in an application to meet these good boys.
