Meet KoJi (Bonded with Chuchi)

Things to know about Koji.  He has lived most of his life with Chuchi. He adores her and is lost when she is not around. The two pups are happiest when they are together and must be adopted as a pair. He is a handsome, loving guy who adores people including children and wants their attention. He is curious, super smart, and always wants to know what is going on. This adorable pup would do best in a home in which someone is home more often than not to take him out for potty breaks, exercise and to keep him company. Koji is house trained. He has never spent time in a crate but does well in a pen. Koji enjoys going for walks on a leash around his neighborhood. However, he needs training to learn to control his urge to bark at people and other dogs. Koji is cautious around dogs his own size or smaller and reactive to dogs that are bigger than he is. If the larger dog remains calm, Koji simmers down. However, if the other dog responds, Koji will run and hide. Koji would like to have a yard to play in, chase squirrels, and explore. He’s a nosy guy and loves peeking through the fence around his foster’s yard to keep his paw on the pulse of the neighborhood. He enjoys riding along in the car and is calm and contented leashed to his seat for safety. Koji is not a particularly vocal dog and should be fine living in a home with shared walls including apartments and townhouses. When we asked his foster mom what she likes most about Koji, she said, “Koji is a very loving guy. He’s also extremely clever. No dog puzzle can befuddle him and he’s an escape artist. The locks better be secured, or he is out of there.” Koji is currently living in Tampa, FL with his foster mom Dawn.
