Meet GUS

Gus is the sweetest, chilled boy you would ever want to meet.  Even though he has not been treated well, he still loves people.  He was picked up as a stray by one of the local county animal controls and nobody came looking for him.  He is great with other dogs and kids.  Not sure about cats but the hounds we have taken in the past are usually good with cats.   Unfortunately our little man is heart worm positive and will start treatment after neuter surgery and removal of several masses.  He is a couch potato who likes to watch TV with dogs on it and just snuggle with his people.  If you are looking for a friend who loves to go for sniff walks and snuggle in a comfy bed and watch TV with you,  Gus is your boy! If you would like to add this sweet boy to your family, please contact Rainbow Rescue at 757-472-1583 or email:  [email protected]

Adoption Process
We require an adoption application. We do home checks, vet checks, and reference checks. If approved, the adopter signs a contract.
