The Furever Project

We are a nonprofit supported by a 100% volunteer staff. We rescue, rehabilitate (when needed) and rehome all dog breeds and dog breed mixes. We don't limit our support to a specific breed. We provide care for dogs who are terminally ill who may otherwise but euthanized so they may be loved and live out their life in a loving fospice home. We support our local community through advocating and providing education on spay/neuter, vaccine and heartworm prevention education and safe dog handling. We provide financial support to those who have dogs with medical issues but can't afford medical care allowing guardians to keep their dogs whom otherwise may have been euthanized or turned into a local shelter.

Meet Lola 2

Hi! I’m Lola, a two-year-old labradoodle ,  I’m a  sweet-tempered  girl who  just  loves to be loved! I’m happiest when I’m with my people, soaking up their attention and adoration.  (That includes kids! I’m very gentle with children.)   I absolutely LOVE all my foster dog friends! My favorite thing to do (besides being with my humans) is running around in the backyard with my doggy pals.   I have been introduced to cats and did awesome! If you have a cat, we can do introductions to make sure it’s a good match.   I’m good in a crate , although if you leave the room and I’m not able to see you, I get sad. At my foster mom’s house, I have free roam at night, and I get to sleep in my favorite chair.  (I think it’s my foster mom’s favorite, too!) I’m a smart girl who knows  that the proper place to go potty is outside.  I walk well on a leash, and I’m learning basic manners. No  one has really worked with me on commands  before,  but I ’m a quick learner and eager to please!   I don’t bark much, except when one of my foster siblings does  —  and then we all join in! (Foster mom lets us know when she’s had enough of our “singing,” and we stop.)   One thing I’m not a fan of is getting in and out of cars. I  prefer for my foster mom to pick me up and place me in the car .  Once  I’m in there,  though,  I just settle down and enjoy the ride! I had to go to the vet the other day, and I was a little scared, but my foster mom said  that  I did very well.   I don’t care for toys that much  —  or treats, for that matter. Attention from my humans means the most to me! (That’s totally OK, though, right??) All I want is to find an individual or a family who will spoil me and shower me with love for the rest of my life. Could that be you? If so, please submit an adoption application for me.
