He has his own bed and when I first got him, I only allowed him to sleep on his bed. Now if I invite to hop up on my bed, he does. He will sleep soundly in his bed or on mine.I adopted him from a shelter. They said he was found along with another dog. They did not tell me he had separation anxiety. He is perfect in every way otherwise. So happy all the time. Wants to please. If I wasn't renting it wouldn't be a problem but he barks when I leave. I feel he needs either a home where someone is retired and is home all day or with a family that has other dogs and children to keep him busy. I love him dearly. The shelter said to give him trazodone. I don't like the idea of medicating him while I am gone, (for an hour or two). I have a camera in kitchen and as soon as I leave, he barks. He stops as soon as I return.
