Mission Statement: Our Mission is to rescue homeless, abandoned, neglected, or abused dogs. By working with committed volunteers, already established veterinarians and trainers, we will nurture, provide medical care, and rehabilitation to these animals while providing a safe and loving "cage-free" environment for as long as it takes to find them adoptive homes. Our Vision: Our vision is to decrease the amount of dogs put to death every year, and prevent cruelty and suffering to all animals. Through humane education via our resources and educational classes, we aim to increase public awareness regarding the over population of adoptable animals in municipal shelters and beyond, and to that end we are firmly committed to:-Rescuing dogs from municipal shelters that are in danger of being euthanized-Educating the public on the importance of responsible pet ownership, including spaying and neutering of companion animals and micro-chipping pets-Advocating for animals through political participation with our Community representatives

Meet Debbie

 IN VERMONT Meet Debbie! More pictures and video to come! Debbie is 5 1/2 years old (approx. DOB 6-25-17), female, 8 lbs., vetted, is or will be spayed, and micro-chipped. Debbie is shy and can get easily spooked. Unfortunately, her adoptive family cannot keep her due to upcoming medical considerations within the household. After only arriving in December, her primary caretaker has not been able to spend time with her and has been away frequently due to a family crisis. She is currently overwhelmed with strangers (to her) coming in and out of the house. Debbie will need time to decompress and trust again. Her best home would be calm, patient, empathetic, and give her the confidence to know she is going to be okay. Stay tuned for more information as Debbie is a new rescue! Adoption Process
Applicants fill out an application and, once thoroughly checked, referenced, and approved, are invited to meet the dogs they have interest in. All dogs are in foster homes. Once they have met their match, they sign an adoption contract and pay the adoption fee.
