Mission Statement: Our Mission is to rescue homeless, abandoned, neglected, or abused dogs. By working with committed volunteers, already established veterinarians and trainers, we will nurture, provide medical care, and rehabilitation to these animals while providing a safe and loving "cage-free" environment for as long as it takes to find them adoptive homes. Our Vision: Our vision is to decrease the amount of dogs put to death every year, and prevent cruelty and suffering to all animals. Through humane education via our resources and educational classes, we aim to increase public awareness regarding the over population of adoptable animals in municipal shelters and beyond, and to that end we are firmly committed to:-Rescuing dogs from municipal shelters that are in danger of being euthanized-Educating the public on the importance of responsible pet ownership, including spaying and neutering of companion animals and micro-chipping pets-Advocating for animals through political participation with our Community representatives

Meet Fozzie

 IN NEED OF LOCAL FOSTER OR ADOPTER / AVAILABLE FOR FOSTER TO ADOPT  Meet Fozzie!  Fozzie is 5 years old, male (approx. DOB tbd), 93 lbs., vetted, is or will be neutered and micro-chipped. Fozzie was found as an abandoned homeless stray, having to fend for himself in NC. He is good with other dogs (likes the gentle dainty playgroups), is your typical aloof husky! If a snow beast and a teddy bear had a baby, it would be Fozzie. This extra-large, extra-fluffy boy is pure floof power (looking suspiciously like a Yeti). Fozzie is a smart cookie; he knows Sit and Shake. He is seeking an experienced home that has another dog, will be patient with him; in typical husky nature, he isn't a big fan of restraint or being forced. Adoption Process
Applicants fill out an application and, once thoroughly checked, referenced, and approved, are invited to meet the dogs they have interest in. All dogs are in foster homes. Once they have met their match, they sign an adoption contract and pay the adoption fee.
