Mission Statement: Our Mission is to rescue homeless, abandoned, neglected, or abused dogs. By working with committed volunteers, already established veterinarians and trainers, we will nurture, provide medical care, and rehabilitation to these animals while providing a safe and loving "cage-free" environment for as long as it takes to find them adoptive homes. Our Vision: Our vision is to decrease the amount of dogs put to death every year, and prevent cruelty and suffering to all animals. Through humane education via our resources and educational classes, we aim to increase public awareness regarding the over population of adoptable animals in municipal shelters and beyond, and to that end we are firmly committed to:-Rescuing dogs from municipal shelters that are in danger of being euthanized-Educating the public on the importance of responsible pet ownership, including spaying and neutering of companion animals and micro-chipping pets-Advocating for animals through political participation with our Community representatives

Meet Twinkie

 IN VERMONT  Meet Twinkie (of Banana and Twinkie)!  https://youtu.be/mr7cFdj9BTc Twinkie is 6 months old, male (approx. DOB 3-14-23), 30+ lbs., vetted, is or will be neutered, and micro-chipped. Twinkie is still a young boy looking forward to learning all about his new world after arriving to an overcrowded shelter with his brother Banana (adopted) at 4 months old! His young little life almost didn't make it out due to the shelter being over capacity and being a black dog! Twinkie is social, affectionate, playful, sweet, curious, and gentle. He gets along well with other dogs, maybe cats, and might like the water given his black lab appearance! He is still a young lad that will need basic training and will make a great addition to any home! Stay tuned for more information as Twinkie is a new rescue! Adoption Process
Applicants fill out an application and, once thoroughly checked, referenced, and approved, are invited to meet the dogs they have interest in. All dogs are in foster homes. Once they have met their match, they sign an adoption contract and pay the adoption fee.
