Mission Statement: Our Mission is to rescue homeless, abandoned, neglected, or abused dogs. By working with committed volunteers, already established veterinarians and trainers, we will nurture, provide medical care, and rehabilitation to these animals while providing a safe and loving "cage-free" environment for as long as it takes to find them adoptive homes. Our Vision: Our vision is to decrease the amount of dogs put to death every year, and prevent cruelty and suffering to all animals. Through humane education via our resources and educational classes, we aim to increase public awareness regarding the over population of adoptable animals in municipal shelters and beyond, and to that end we are firmly committed to:-Rescuing dogs from municipal shelters that are in danger of being euthanized-Educating the public on the importance of responsible pet ownership, including spaying and neutering of companion animals and micro-chipping pets-Advocating for animals through political participation with our Community representatives

Meet Kennedy

 IN NEED OF LOCAL FOSTER OR ADOPTER / AVAILABLE FOR FOSTER TO ADOPT  Meet Kennedy! Kennedy is 5 years old, female (approx. DOB tbd), 61 lbs., vetted, is or will be spayed and micro-chipped. Kennedy breaks our hearts! This girl arrived with a microchip. It was unregistered but we were able to make contact with the rescue that implanted it. They don't have any records of this girl and have asked us to rehome her after her mandatory hold. The shelter environment was hard on this lonely and scared girl. Despite being in such a loud and overwhelming place, she is good with people and loves attention. This girl is looking for a quiet and safe place to call home. Kennedy tested well with other dogs and has been non-reactive with cats. We recommend using caution until she shows that she can be trusted. Kennedy walks well on a leash. Adoption Process
Applicants fill out an application and, once thoroughly checked, referenced, and approved, are invited to meet the dogs they have interest in. All dogs are in foster homes. Once they have met their match, they sign an adoption contract and pay the adoption fee.
