Mission Statement: Our Mission is to rescue homeless, abandoned, neglected, or abused dogs. By working with committed volunteers, already established veterinarians and trainers, we will nurture, provide medical care, and rehabilitation to these animals while providing a safe and loving "cage-free" environment for as long as it takes to find them adoptive homes. Our Vision: Our vision is to decrease the amount of dogs put to death every year, and prevent cruelty and suffering to all animals. Through humane education via our resources and educational classes, we aim to increase public awareness regarding the over population of adoptable animals in municipal shelters and beyond, and to that end we are firmly committed to:-Rescuing dogs from municipal shelters that are in danger of being euthanized-Educating the public on the importance of responsible pet ownership, including spaying and neutering of companion animals and micro-chipping pets-Advocating for animals through political participation with our Community representatives

Meet Tanner

 IN VERMONT  Meet Tanner!  Tanner is 3 years old, male (approx. DOB 3-4-22), 23 lbs., vetted, is or will be neutered and micro-chipped. Tanner was found with 2 other dogs as a homeless abandoned stray in SC. It can be very scary to be a smaller pup in a huge scary world. Tanner is very sweet and shy, should be good with other dogs (likely will need another dog in the home to help build his confidence), likely good with cats, and will need some TLC and time to know he is ok! Adoption Process
Applicants fill out an application and, once thoroughly checked, referenced, and approved, are invited to meet the dogs they have interest in. All dogs are in foster homes. Once they have met their match, they sign an adoption contract and pay the adoption fee.
