Meet Neko Nuzzles

Hi, I’m Neko Nuzzles. I am 2.5 years old and full grown at just 9.5lbs. I am a Maltese mix with soft, snowy white fur. I came to Rescue Rovers without a backstory. I was at a shelter, the shelter said “can you help” and Rescue Rovers said “yes!” But foster mom says she really wishes she knew more about my past. I am pretty shy, very timid with new people. I lived in my foster home for 2 weeks before I felt comfortable enough to bark! Things seemed kind of scary. Now I’m much more settled in. I have a loud bark for such a small man, and I like to talk while I’m playing. Foster mom says it’s pretty funny the way I wrestle and tug and bark all at once! I’m much more comfy here in my foster home, but new people still scare me a bit. So you’ll need to plan on giving me some time to warm up. One thing that will help is other dogs! I love my doggie friends of all shapes and sizes. If you have a nice pack, I would love to join! I am crate trained and nice and quiet in my crate. My foster mom uses belly bands in her house so we don’t have accidents, but I don’t really think I need it…and anyway, I think it’s scary! Anyway, I’m close to potty trained, too. I haven’t been on a leash, but we’re planning to work on that soon. Maybe you can adopt me and teach me that stuff yourself! I would love to bond with you over hard things. I feel like it’s easier to be brave when you have a best friend by your side. Do you think I could be your new best friend? Apply to meet me today at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication and let’s see!
