Meet Ru

Meet Ru! Ru is a year and a half dachshund mix who weighs about 18 lbs. She was a stray before making her way to a shelter New Mexico and then joining Rescue Rovers. Despite her rough past, Ru has so much love and affection for people and is waiting for her special home. This beautiful dachshund mix is a lover at heart but does take some time to trust new doggy friends. Ru would do best in a home where she is an only dog or owner has experience with dogs that need slow introductions and time to build trust with another dog in the home. She is looking for a home with a strong leader who can teach her some manners and help socialize her. A home with adults only or dog savvy teens would be best. Adoption Process
Fees are: $300 for puppies (under 3 years) $250 for adult dogs (ages 3-8) $150 for seniors (ages 8 and up) $350 for "Premier" dogs (includes hypoallergenic, AKC registered and discretionary breeds.) *$50 training refund for dogs under 8 upon proof of professional training (within 3 months of adoption) Fee's include Spay/Neuter, Microchip, plus Rabies, Bordatella, Distemper/Parvo Vaccines and de-worming. We take Cash, Check and Credit Card Application & Contract are required
