Meet Tramp

Hi there, my name is Tramp and I cannot wait to meet you! I am a fun-loving 1-year-old male and weigh around 30 pounds. I was told I may be a schnauzer mix, but my foster mom thinks my size and personality are more similar to a wire-haired terrier mix. I am a fun-loving guy with puppy energy and am looking for a family that will appreciate my joyful personality. I am house trained, crate trained, quiet, and have taken basic obedience training. I LOVE food and am working on my manners. I enjoy adventures, whether on a trail, in a park, or around the neighborhood. I love to play with other dogs! I do not understand social cues very well and I may be a bit too much for some dogs. I would love to have a dog playmate that matches my playful nature, or would do well as an only dog child. I can entertain myself for hours with my own toys. I may be a bit curious about cats initially, but should do fine after a proper introduction. I used to live with young kids and loved playing with them! I have a wiry coat, a soft fuzzy muzzle, may be hypoallergenic, and will have very minimal grooming needs. I am a very sweet and affectionate cuddle bug looking for my forever family! Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. CAWS strives to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $200. If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at http://caws.org/adoption-application.
