Meet Khaleesi Bear

Hello! I’m Khaleesi Bear!  My foster family calls me Khaleesi (the toddler has called me “Kissy”). Like my namesake, I am the queen of the doggos (well, at least I think I am) and a big teddy bear. I was shy at first, but once I am comfortable I come out of my shell and feel confident in my role as queen. I am almost a year old! I don’t shed, which has surprised my foster mama! I keep myself pretty clean, since I am the khaleesi after all. My foster mom thinks I may be golden retriever and husky, but foster dad thinks Great Pyrenees and Shepard mix. I am about 40 lbs right now so I may get a little bigger but not much. Some say that I look like a mini dire-wolf    Doggos and people are the best!! Brace yourselves, snuggles are coming! I would rather be with you than by myself any day! Foster mom thinks I am an enneagram type 7. I am an extrovert and want to be a companion dog ever so badly! I have a bit of an anxious attachment style but with time and love I believe I can become more confident and secure with my family! I would do well with someone who works from home and would love a fur sibling who likes to play. I am very smart and eager to please, so I listen very well when you call my name and give me directions. I am still a puppy and learning, so I need my people to be patient with me and work with me    I currently live with 4 other doggos of different breeds and sizes - both ladies and gents. Talk about foster mama being the mother of doggos!! They have taught me how to take social cues and how to play with different sizes and personalities. My potty training is going well since I have so many friends to show me where to go in the yard and how to use the doggy door. I love being able to go in and outside when I need to. I really want my foster fur siblings to love me so I make sure to respect them when they are done with play time. We all take naps together like beached seals!    In my Game of Bones, I need exercise and some play everyday! I am good on a leash and enjoy long walks and runs. I am also a water dog - I love sitting in my foster families toddler pool. I love going on adventures and riding in the car. I sit by my human foster sibling as we watch for different trucks on the road. I am very good with him and the 4 month old baby! I only ever give her a little kiss and make sure I rough play away from both human littles!    If I ruled the Iron Bone, I would say every dog gets chicken treats, squeaky plush toys, ropes, nylabones, tennis balls, a doggy door, a yard, and a wading pool to splash and play in! Most importantly, I want my people and family by my side and to spend my life loving and doting on them as their khaleesi queen.    If you bend the knee and would like to meet your potential Khaleesi - the ruler of the Iron Bone, apply at Rescuerovers.org Apply to meet me at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication
