Meet Cody

Meet Cody - This adorable boy is Cody! He is 4 years old Basenji Dog and weighs only 20lbs! He is very cute, gentle, and quiet. He gets along very well with other dogs, cats, and kids. While he may be a little shy and timid to new people at first, once he warms up, he will happily follow you everywhere and come to you when you call his name. He is very polite and gently takes his treats, doesn’t distract furniture, doesn’t react to a doorbell, and overall, very well-mannered dog. He is house trained with regular potty break, walks great on a leash, and rides well in a car. He is making a great progress on crate training as well, and currently sleeping through the night at his foster’s home. The ideal family for Cody will be someone who understands his initial timidness and be patient with him until he warms up, because this good boy is totally worth it. He will also benefit from having another canine companion to play with and learn from. If you are looking for an adorable dog with a golden heart, don’t miss this opportunity to give him a loving home he truly deserves! Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $200. If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at http://caws.org/adoption-application If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-application
