Meet Jax

Meet Jax! At about 1 year old, Jax came to CAWS from a situation where he had been a completely outside dog and was very under socialized. And yet, Jax is a very sweet boy who loves people though he tends to be on the shy side. In a short amount of time, Jax has already learned so much and will continue to grow as he discovers that things like leashes and car rides aren't so scary after all. He knows "sit" and is working on many other commands; he loves to chew on his toys and slowly exploring the world of "fetch." Jax loves his crate, and he's equally happy to lay at your feet. While Jax does love people of all ages, including young kids, he would do best in home with older children who are calmer as he can get overwhelmed. He also needs another dog who is comfortable, playful but calm and confident to help teach and guide Jax in his learning journey. He is currently living with another dog and a cat, and he loves playing with them both. Jax had made significant progress while being in his foster home and he will continue to flourish and grow in a calm and patient home. Is yours the home for him? If so, please fill out an application at http://caws.org/adoption-application. Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Jax's adoption fee is $200. If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-application
