Meet Kida
Meet Kida – Your Adventure Buddy with a Big Heart!Kida is a 4.5-year-old Husky mix with a big personality, a bigger heart, and even bigger zoomies! Weighing in at just under 70 pounds, she’s a strong, playful girl who absolutely lives for time with her people. Whether it’s playing fetch in the backyard, exploring new places at the park, or curling up near the family at home, Kida is the kind of dog who wants to be included in every part of life. She’s house-trained and crate-trained, and she knows exactly what it means when you grab the leash—it’s go time! Kida walks well, especially with a harness, though she may pull a bit at first with excitement. With her high energy level, she thrives on daily walks or runs, and would love a fenced yard where she can run and play to her heart’s content. Kida is super sweet and caring, especially around children, though she’d do best with older kids who can help keep up with her active lifestyle. She also gets along well with other dogs and loves having a buddy to play with. While she’s extremely playful and affectionate, she’s probably not the best fit for a home with cats—her excitement may turn into a chase! Currently, Kida is being treated for anxiety and incontinence and is responding really well. She’s a quick learner and already knows several commands. With consistency, love, and patience, there’s no limit to what she can learn next. What makes Kida so special is her affectionate nature—she bonds fast, stays close, and will happily spend all day soaking up your attention. Her foster family says she’s grown so much and continues to surprise them with how smart and loving she is. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, energetic, and loyal companion to be your hiking buddy, walking partner, and best friend, Kida is ready to meet you!Kida's adoption fee is $200.
