Hello, potential families! My name is Dashing Valor, and I am a 2.5 year old dachshund. My name makes me sound like I could be one of Santa’s reindeer, right? But I’m WAY too little to help pull a sleigh! Still, if Mr. and Mrs. Claus are looking for a little buddy – I would happily brave the cold for a loving family! I weigh in at 12lbs and I am a long bodied low-rider. So the sleigh would definitely be a problem for me, but the reindeer wouldn’t be! I am great with the other dogs in my foster home, from 5lbs up to 80lbs, I’m happy to hang with any of them. I would be happy to ride *inside* the sleigh! Maybe on your lap? I like car rides a lot, and I’d be happy to go anywhere you’re going! I love people. You won’t find me hiding in the corner, I want the pets! And the treats! Humans are great. I haven’t lived with kids, but I’m a good age and have a great temperament, so I would be fine with kids over about 8, and probably younger, dog-savvy kids would be fine, too. I am crate trained and potty pad trained already, and I’m ready to find my forever family! If you think I could be the little lap warmer you’ve been looking for, apply to meet me today at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication
