Meet Mav-Rick

Hi! My name is Mav-Rick! Have you ever met a real life Kangaroo? I'm the closest thing to it! I am a fun loving, snuggly, and energetic 14 week old male Labrador mix pup! I am currently 30lbs. The puppy calculator estimates that I will be an extra large breed dog weighing between 90-120 lbs fully grown. I am learning how to walk with a leash and communicating my needs to go outside! I love my kennel as well as warm soft blankets, dog beds or pillows! I am very active and need daily exercise, but when I am done – I’m out like a light. I am about 70% potty trained and I sleep through an 8 hour night in my kennel. I am still a puppy, so I am teething and will need lots of hard chew toys. I am not a destructive chewer, in fact I like to carry the stuffies around with me like we're besties.I am so obedient and I am first to come when you call. I would love to go wherever you go, even if that’s the bathroom, are you cool with that? I just feel like we are best when we are together.  I am completely unaware of my size and stature. I believe that I can fit on anyone’s lap and prefer to be right at your feet when I am tuckered out for the night. When you hold me, like a baby kangaroo I will rest my head on your shoulder. I’m so sweet and loving after running around for about an hour. I am a total lover!! I can sit on your lap or lay next you while you watch movies or tv because I’m very easy going! I am great with kids and love to play with my foster brothers! Because I am still growing I need a high calorie diet, my foster parents are working on chubbing me up, but my bones grow as fast as weeds! I’m food motivated though so you can just feed me treats all day and I’ll love you forever! When I meet new people, I am completely excited and willing to give everyone a try! My foster mom loves me because I am like a kangaroo – I just fold in half with my long legs and love to be embraced! I can bring a smile to anyone! Adoption Process
Fees are: $300 for puppies (under 3 years) $250 for adult dogs (ages 3-8) $150 for seniors (ages 8 and up) $350 for "Premier" dogs (includes hypoallergenic, AKC registered and discretionary breeds.) *$50 training refund for dogs under 8 upon proof of professional training (within 3 months of adoption) Fee's include Spay/Neuter, Microchip, plus Rabies, Bordatella, Distemper/Parvo Vaccines and de-worming. We take Cash, Check and Credit Card Application & Contract are required
